Treehouse, an online technology school that offers beginner to advanced courses in web design, web development, mobile development and game development, recently launched its Techdegree program. In 6 to 12 months, graduates will be ready to start an entry-level job in the tech industry.
We took a look at the program and found three stand-out features that make it special. Read on to find out more about Treehouse’s Techdegree.
During the program, students will complete 12 real-world projects. A professional developer will review every project and provide detailed feedback. This not only means students will know if they’re on the right track or not, but also that they’ll have a solid product for their portfolio. Once the developer gives the OK, students will be able to move on to the next topic.
During the courses, students don’t have to feel like they’re going through it alone. Every student gets two one-on-one video mentorship sessions a month -- a great opportunity to further develop skills. On top of that, students can get insight, advice and support from other students through an exclusive Techdegree Slack channel.
