In other words, students and employers are in need of a more accessible and applicable computer science education. Recognizing the demand for change, we asked ourselves, "What if we reinvented higher education for software engineering?"

After researching computer science schools around the world, we discovered Ecole 42, an impactful French tech school with no teachers, no textbooks, and no tuition cost. Scale's Empowered Education model adapts the Ecole 42 structure for a results-driven higher education attuned to our community.
