But there's more, my colleagues have become family and I've felt supported by ISDI in all my job searching process, it's been two weeks since I finished and I already have a job. I couldn't recommend this place enough for someone looking for a change or to land a nice tech job!

Overall an amazing experience. The course is very demanding, and leaves most of us absolutely exhausted, but somehow all my colleagues and myself remember the whole thing very fondly. The technologies vary from year to year, and from student to student... Read More sometimes. In my case I focused in React and NextJs. Also there is a HEAVY focus on testing. You will come out the other end of the boot camp with an intimate knowledge of Jest (and react testing library, MSW, and so on) Apparently you come out of the boot camp very well prepared ( took me 2 weeks to find a job, and the feedback from my interviews have been very positive) I have already recommended this camp to whatever friends and family show an interest in programming because I honestly can't imagine anything better.

Como nos dijo David al empezar: "El bootcamp lo entenderéis al final". Y ahora que he acabado veo que salgo con unos conocimientos que al empezar el curso ni me hubiera imaginado y con la fuerza necesaria para afrontar los procesos de selección que vendrán a partir de ahora. They teach the subjects in a not very didactic way, especially the last weeks, when the themes are more complicated. The lead teacher haven't the... Read More agenda of subjects well structured, leaving unexplained topics, like testing. The support teachers are selected students of the previous bootcamp, they haven't knowledge of teaching. When I finish my bootcamp they didn't give me support to find job or how to find it. I don't recommend it.

Si lo que buscas es un giro de 180 grados en tu carrera profesional, y dedicarte a ser web developer este es tu sitio, porque? porque no solo te enseñan a programar como en otros sitios, sino que te enseñan a ser programador, como es el día a día en las... Read More empresas, a ser resolutivo e independiente. Ellos se van a encargar de todo eso, pero tu tienes que poner de tu parte esfuerzo, dedicación y disciplina, durante 11 semanas vas a estar de lunes a domingo programando 14h de media diarias. Todo ese esfuerzo merece la pena cuando al acabar el bootcamp en un periodo corto de tiempo encuentras trabajo en una empresa como desarroyador web full stack, como acaba de pasarme a mi. Asi que si estas en la situación en la que me encontraba yo hace meses, no lo dudes si tienes mentalidad fuerte, ganas, disciplina, constancia y trabajo duro apuntate y no te arrepentiras.

Due to COVID 19 I lost my job as a call center specialist. At that time I had no previous studies or experience with web development whatsoever but I was interested in that world. I decided to make an investment to improve my studies and change my career... Read More path (that was more focused on Economy) joining ISDI CODERS (former Skylab Coders) bootcamp. The bootcamp was one of the hardest experiences I ever had, we had to work and study between 8 - 12 hours a day, everyday (weekends included) during 3 months. There was a lot of pressure, mostly from myself, to keep pushing and don't give up, but in the end it was all worth it. After completing the bootcamp, the academy gave me job support sending recommendations to many companies and sharing some job offers. For me it took around 6 months after finishing the bootcamp to finally get my contract with a company to work as a Front End developer using React, but during that period of time I studied on my own and work doing small projects as a freelancer. Overall, the economic investment and all the hard work paid off!

No puedo decir que sea sencillo, requiere un sacrificio mental que no podrás preparar antes de entrar pero merecerá la pena.
