Meredith Elise I entered MMA with no prior coding experience and was instantly thrown into the depths. This works if you work it! The instruction I received and the support I continue to receive from the staff is outstanding! I found a job at a startup within two weeks of graduating Mobile Makers and have since found another job at the best web and mobile studio in Chicago! ;) This experience has meant and done more for me than I can express here! Thanks Mobile Makers!!! :):)
Jen Kelley I knew I wanted to learn to code, but I had no idea how to start doing it. I started Mobile Makers with zero coding experience and graduated with two job offers within a week of graduating. Mobile Makers will teach you how to build an iOS app. It will teach you how to be an actual programmer. It will let you be able to talk about technology with people who know what they're talking about. At the end of the course, the put on a showcase where they invite recruiters, tech companies, and past graduates. At this showcase you are literally exposed to the people who want to hire someone like you. This is where Mobile Makers shines. It's up to you to impress these people. They have spent the past two months offering lots of help (even giving a starter resume) and knowledge to you, and now it's your time to take control of your destiny and decide what you want to do. In order to be super successful in Mobile Makers, you have to be willing to ask questions, put in extra time, and be a fast learner. I'm not going to lie, if you have no social skills and have never had a job before, you probably won't get a job right out of Mobile Makers. However if you can interact with other people (a lot of companies look for someone who can communicate effectively) and can learn new things, you'll be in an excellent position to be hired after completing Mobile Makers. Because it's very true that Mobile Devs are in high demand right now.
