Alex Barrow My boss pulled me into his office and told me he wanted me to head up the marketing of our 55 person company. I have taken marketing classes many years ago at BYU and have dabbled in online marketing personally, but I've never had any sort of professional training. My company paid for me to attend Market Campus so I could get that training. The course starts out basic but quickly moves to an advanced level in many areas. My instructor skipped the bullcrap and went right to the stuff that actually applies. I've taken online courses in the past trying to learn, but they were either way too over my head, or the instructor would spend 80% of the course time talking about himself. Not so with Market Campus. 9 weeks later I left with some amazing new content ideas for my company, a new outlook towards using social media, and of course a promotion within my company. Highly suggest this course for any company looking to beef up (or simply just start) their digital marketing efforts.
Mark R. So before Market Campus I knew nothing about digital marketing. I mean, I knew what it WAS, I just knew I wouldn't know where to start if I tried. I saw an ad on Facebook for the course and thought I'd take the chance. The sad part in all of this was that I had a 4-year marketing degree from UVU and still didn't know a thing about digital. Throughout class I was sitting next to many students like me, as well as full-time professionals who were already in marketing. It's hard to explain how Market Campus teaches, but it felt like both myself along with the students who were already doing this for a living, were learning a bunch. Moral of the story is if you feel like you don't feel like you know enough about digital marketing in today's world, whether you are brand new or an "experienced" marketer, this program will likely be a great fit. After the course I found a job with a local agency starting off at $42,000. My previous salary? $17,500 in a job I hated. It's getting close to a year since I graduated and I am still in contact with many of the alumni and my instructor.
