Anonymous My journey began in 2017 as a stay at home mother of 3 I felt it was time to upskill and return to the workforce. I saw an add for the 5 day coding challenge and decided to give it a try, from that moment to the present day Code Institute have been supporting me. The course was fantastic and challenging, learning many of the skills required for todays web development and even though the course was very Intense I loved every minute of the learning and building a website from scratch to a full stack website. I finally finished the course in 2018, I loved the learning so much I decided to continue on with a HDip, but the communication and help from Code Institute did not end that day, I am still in regular contact with Code Institute and the careers section. When I was coming towards the end of the HDip, I reached out to Code Institute regarding a Job they had posted and Jane was more than happy to help with the application and finally helped me to secure the Job with Shopify. I would highly recommend anyone thinking of pursuing a career in Web Development to give the 5 day coding challenge a try. Its 5 days that could change the rest of your life as it has done for me and so many others.
