| | Liam Gosnell | The course was very well laid out and up to date with the latest technologies. The student community on Slack is incredibly supportive and helpful, while the tutor support is second to none. Whenever I found myself struggling, help was only a call away. The student care was brilliant and I always felt that they had genuine interest in giving me a hand if i was stuck. I went from only knowing a couple things coding wise to building my own websites and web-apps!!
The projects throughout the course were difficult but incredibly rewarding once you finish them. They show how to do the basics and it's up to you to expand and better yourself for each project.
I did the course while working Full-time, It was very challenging to balance but I always looked forward to sitting down and learning everyday!
Overall I 100% recommend The Full Stack Software Developer course at Code Institute to anyone looking to start a career in IT. |
| | Django Heimgartner | Following the online course at home can be though with a newborn child and a full time job, but with the awesome mentor and student support it's manageable. With the slack community as your backup most of your coding problems can be solved. Some courses and material can have some minor glitches, but are solved quickly. Video material on Jquriry felt a bit outdated, but the new Django course felt fresh and new.
