Matt T This course has been a GIANT waste of money. The modules look like they are using software from the early 2000s. For a course in UX/UI design you would think that the modules themselves would be much better. The scope and sequence of the classes makes little sense. At one point our instructor told us they something we were learning in week 9 as the first step, and something we did week 3 as one of the last. The instructor I can tell is knowledgeable but the online classes have been her showing us youtube videos and reading verbatim from a slide show. She hasn't shown taught any of the hard skills and does not know the four major software programs that UX/UI designers use (figma, XD, sketch and Miro). We have not learned how to use a single one. I have had multiple conversations with University Academics (who runs the bootcamp for FAU) about learning the hard skills but with little luck. I wish I would have 1) spent a little more for a better program or 2)learned it on my own since I am pretty much doing that anyway. The money back guarantee is also a scam, make sure you read the fine print! They completely changed the requirements to get it. I could go on and on but my big hope is that I can save people money and not go through this experience. It truly is just a piece of paper at this point.
