"Not worth it, there are better bootcamps"

Since the pandemic, Austin Coding Academy has really gone downhill. Last-minute schedule changes and overall disorganization have become the norm. It feels like they still haven’t figured things out, and it's been pretty disappointing.

The curriculum feels... Read More

Most of the positive reviews are from years ago. The place used to have a great reputation, but now it's just not the same. Until they sort things out, I wouldn't recommend Austin Coding Academy. There are other coding bootcamps out there with much better reputations and outcomes for a similar price.

"Very happy with the results I'm getting because of ACA"

The course is taught by experienced professionals working in the field, so they teach you what you need to know to get a job. All of my instructors were incredibly helpful and would go above and beyond to make sure that I fully understood each concept. If there was something I was struggling with they would always offer additional one-on-one tutoring.

They also have dedicated staff to help with job placement - this is where they really shine. Dan Cumming helped me with my resume and coached me to be articulate on the subjects that matter most.

I now understand how to learn new web development technologies quickly and will use these skills the rest of my life. Not only did I learn enough to break into a new field, but I had a lot of fun and made great friends along the way!
