"Several of these shinig reviews are from Bottega Staff"

Don't be fooled by this Bootcamp. They will tell you ANYTHING you want to get you to sign up. They say it will be $12000 (full time) but they alter the terms after you leave doing anything they can to get the inflated $24000. They do not have the clout... Read More

"Choose Bottega boot camp!"

I researched several boot camps before choosing Bottega and I'm glad I did. The instructor was with us every day with the goal of making sure we understood the material. Was it intense? For sure! I mean this is web development! But repetition breeds familiarity... Read More

I just graduated from Bottegas 3 month full time program. The teachers really care about your success and make sure you are actually learning the material. It is hard work but in my opinion it is totally worth it. I am a 38 year old mom who knew NOTHING... Read More

"I have never been more dissatisfied"

The only pro to this school is those who help students with zoom calls, other than that, I have nothing good to say. I spent six weeks working with someone representing Bottega, who assured me Bottega is an approved school for WIOA. I cannot afford tuition... Read More

"Do Not Go to Bottega The school is not honest and is Misleading."

In November 2018 I started the part time Software Development program with Bottega. I struggled with the content of the program and stopped at 17%. I thought that maybe it was because I was working full time and was trying to learn by myself. In the summer... Read More

Official Response from Bottega University

Thank you for your feedback. Here at Bottega, we strive to constantly improve and strengthen our service. We also strive to find individuals with passion and creativity. Two qualities that we feel you personify! There are a few concerns that we would... Read More

Bottega is accredited by the American Council of Education, an organization that routinely and rigorously checks in on our curriculum, how it’s taught, our numbers, and rewards us with accreditation to keep students from being taken advantage of. Our students can go to https://bottega.tech/accreditation/ for more information. Within the last year we have continued to work on making improvements in every area of Bottega and have implemented a requirement for all of our students to complete the Coding Foundations Challenge course before they sign up for the Full-Stack program. This serves as our technical interview. It requires dedication and commitment from our potential students.

Our company is run by some fantastic people. Fili Ledezma is our CEO and President, Shayne Roy is our COO, and Jordan Hudgens is our CTO and head video instructor. As our video instructor, Jordan Hudgens has a lot of experience with building web applications, mobile applications, and has been teaching for years as well.

Our videos are designed for students who do not have any prior experience in the software development field or for people who want to further their knowledge in this field. There are countless stories of individuals that have gone through the program and have been uplifted from their current life situation.

Our full-time classes cater to those that need a live instructor while going through the course videos. They are there to help keep our students on pace to finishing in 3 months. Our instructors are really passionate about what they are teaching and they want to be able to help students grow so they can live up to their true potential.

The part-time option is catered to giving our students the flexibility they need to still be able to do other things in their daily lives, but our students have to make sure to reach out and get the support from our instructors and mentors when struggling. All of our mentors and class instructors are graduates from the Bottega program and know the material well.

Learning something new can be incredibly difficult, that’s why these videos, tests, and projects, give our students the chance to practice and implement. Coding along with the videos is a great way to learn and understand material. Students are encouraged to rewatch the videos, to pause as they go, and to ask questions when lost rather than just watch and listen.

We understand that part-time isn’t for everyone, which is why we give people the option of transitioning to full-time if needed. Since we provide students a live instructor and other added tools for the full-time option, there is a difference between the pricing of the full-time and part-time programs. Due to this pricing difference the payback percentage does change when a student decides to switch over. In the ISA Leif agreement we encourage our students to read through the contract completely before signing it. This allows the student to be fully aware of their obligation, especially about the section that gives information on withdrawing from the program and having to pay a prorated amount.

Due to the 2020 pandemic and the shutdown of many offices, we were forced to make decisions about changes with how our school was structured for the safety of our employees and students in order to keep the school running as smoothly as possible. This included having to set up ways for employees to work from home and still be able to run a classroom setting for our Full-time students to the best of their ability. This also includes setting up zoom meetings for everyone to be able to go over the material of the instruction videos together as a class with the live instructor present and available to answer any questions or assist with any concerns that students have. With the fellow students being in the class as well, everyone is able to help one another.

Bottega truly wants to change lives and give hope. We are working to give our students the education and tools they need to become a successful software developer. We are willing to do everything on our end to help our students as best as we can.
