This boot-camp is like Mountaineering, stretches all your muscles (mental and emotional in this case), the journey is really tough, but with fellow student, mentors and support from institute it becomes easy and worthwhile. I am hoping to be on top of... Read More the mountain and being amazed with the view (achievement). The Projects are really world examples and tools used are very current with their own mysteries. If you expert to master anything then you are mistaken, this is a journey that will continue even after the boot-camp (still have to come down from the top of one mountain and deal with another mountain).

Read More in the programme I'm more confident and determine to complete the software development programme. I'm very much impressed by the professionalism of people and quality learning materials. To date I have been introduced to many tools, many coding languages, many platforms for collaborative working and am well on my way towards my goal of contributing to knowledge economy.

My experience at Code Institute so far is a very good one. My work hours tend to extend to more than 45 hours a week and for a while, I had to travel between Germany and the U.K which meant that I would sacrifice a little over two months from my Mentored... Read More Online Programme due to the lack of time but my mentor and people in charge of the online programme were very forgiving and supportive and simply gave a window of time to get back to a more regular schedule.
I am still at the beginning of Stream One of the Front End part of the course but I believe that this is the right choice for professionals with limited time on their hands but willing to make a change in future.

Attending this course for me is an exciting journey, it's allowing me to gain a skills, i've been interested in for a while to help me on my way to change my career path to become a junior developer. The content is relevant and realistic to real life job briefs, and the content is updated to fit with what is current. It's easily accessible and convenient!

The whole staff are great at helping out with ideas, networking opportunities, resources and anything you could need help with really.

I haven't fully finished the course yet but I've already completed a website for a small business that I'm very proud... Read More of, and have other projects in the works too. I've also started volunteering as a technical Mentor with the Coder Dojo (which I'd never even heard of before starting with The Code Institute - but I love it and am learning so much.)

Since starting this course my whole life direction has changed for the better and it's opening up opportunities that were simply not available to me before hand. Great course, great staff, great help, great mentors. I highly recommend to anyone.

I started the Full Stack Developer programme last year with no prior knowledge or experience of coding and to be honest I was nervous about starting. I had previous knowledge of basic computing and Microsoft packages which definitely helped a little.... Read More The programme starts with teaching the basics and rapidly builds on what you have learnt, I would in no way say it was easy if you are inexperienced but with a little effort and some guidance you will be amazed at what you can create in a relatively short period of time; a few months in and my confidence had increased tenfold. The programme also provides really good links to other resources which will assist you in your studies so that as well as learning a new subject you are directed to alternative sources of information which are invaluable in progressing.
There are regular live webinars covering a variety of subjects from careers advice to web profiles which I also found very useful.
The student is backed by a very professional but infinitely friendly and supportive Student Care Team who are available to answer any concerns and when, halfway through my programme, I suffered some personal issues that affected me continuing my course work, they were there for me to help me through.
I would recommend this to anyone who is even just thinking about it.

The course is easy to follow and takes you from a complete novice to a job ready developer. Most lessons are accompanied with challenges that get you practicing the content which really helps with understanding. If you get stuck there's a friendly online... The course has been really informative so far, I've learned things I thought I would never be able to get my head around, I'm about half way through and feel confident I can build a simple website already with a few complex features. If you want to learn web development this is a really great course, I'd recommend it to anyone who wanted to get into the industry. Also I've had really good professional service from the code institute team. They really take care of their students.
