I can not think of a better location they could have chosen to have Codeup at. The partnership between Geekdom and Codeup only enhances the program and I believe the success of their students proves that.

Before Codeup I was interning with a telecommunications company where I shadowed the lead PHP developer for 7 months. I got exposed to alot of programming and it put me ahead of the game, but I still wasn't confident in my abilities.

The program is structured so that from day one you are coding and it builds off of core material so you have a solid foundation to learn from. By the end of the 11 weeks we were placed in teams of 3 and within 10 days created a mobile and web app to show off our skills to potential employers. The program was amazing and I along with 95% of my class are enjoying our new jobs as developers. I would and have recommended Codeup to many of my friends, 6 of which have also joined the class since I've graduated.

The course is well designed with the clear intent of getting you to create full stack applications that will have employers taking you seriously as a candidate for employment. This bootcamp will only get better with time, especially given the dedication and involvement of the instructors.
