I came across the Entity Academy's Data Science Virtual Academy through an advertisement. As a data analyst, I signed up almost immediately because I thought this would be a great opportunity to enhance my current knowledge and upskill in the process.... Read More While attending the academy, I had two amazing mentors that helped me the most. Whenever I was really stuck or had an issue with any assignment, they were extremely helpful and guided me through the process. During my final project, the instructor and one of the mentors offered a lot of support, guidance, and encouragement for me and my project partner to build confidence in our work. After the final project and post-graduation, I had tremendous help from Mark Gasche to hone and polish both my soft skills and resume. With his help and expertise, I applied for a Senior Analyst position and landed the job!!! Although I have a background in data analysis, computer science, and SQL, my newly acquired knowledge of Python, R, Tableau, and predictive modeling/machine learning helped push me over the edge!

Entity Academy is more than your normal academy or university. Entity is a community of thriving individuals that genuinely would love to see another succeed throughout the program and after the program. Currently enrolled within the Data science program... Read More and the amount of resources provided for internal support and external support is tremendous. Each less is throughly broken down for maximum benefit in learning the material. Whether it is weekly workshops or recorded material. The mentors are always readily available to help when needed throughout the course as well as consistent motivation to make one feel ready to tackle each assignment. I would encourage and recommend Entity to family, friends, or even a stranger due to the strong support system and course material.

I have a degree, but when I suddenly became a single mom, my old career was no longer a good fit. I shopped around for certification programs and data science, but they were all either too expensive, too demanding, too long, or just intuitively felt wrong.... Read More However, I spoke to someone from Entity Academy the same day that I applied, and within an hour had enrolled. As soon as I learned about the curriculum, funding options, and wonderful supportive staff, I just knew it was the right choice. I’m now 6 months into my 8 month program. It has definitely been challenging, but also very empowering. I would not recommend the program if you can’t dedicate at least some time to schoolwork on most days. On the bright side, in 8 months, you are done!

I saw this opportunity from Instagram it was talking about Women Empowerment and that led me to getting more information. I read what opportunities awaited me and so I took the chance and spoke to one of many representatives for ENTITY ACADEMY. I listened... Read More to how this school is different in the learning approach, they are really down to earth and you aren't another just another student, you become part of the journey and while doing it meeting amazing people and getting to attend live forums in hearing about Mentor's stories about how and what they did to get where they are today. Also you get to have your own mentor with you every step of they way. This is what make Entity so different , this is a coveted experience to not only grow financially but personally #WomenThatDo . So far It's been an amazing experience I can't wait to reap all the benefits to my advantage.

While all aspects of the program helped me become the writer and self-marketer I am today, I gained the most from ENTITY’S mentorship program. All you have to do, is be squeaky wheel. Keep reaching out to the speakers who inspired you. Don’t let them forget you. And dazzle them. Specifically, my relationship with Merle Ginsberg, the fashion editor at LA Mag, is what launched me into my career. She helped me make a splash in the journalism industry by connecting me with the higher-ups at LA Mag, like Maer Roshan and Joseph Kapsch. And I could not be more grateful for her guidance. And now I get to cover Rupaul’s DragCon this May for LA Mag, which, to be too corny, is a dream come true. If you take advantage of every resource ENTITY offers you and put in the work, you’ll leave the program with the skills, knowledge, and relationships you need to pursue your career.

i have been with this academy for a month now and im not disappointed with anything so far the fireside chats are great the mentors are there to assist you with anything you need.
