One of the highlights of this bootcamp for me was how much emphasis was placed on practical challenges. Every lecture was followed by exercises that really tested our understanding of the material. It was clear that the program prioritized not just teaching but ensuring we had the practical skills needed to succeed.

While I had an overwhelmingly positive experience with this bootcamp, one area that could be improved is the buddy system. Most of the time, I appreciated it because it exposed me to different perspectives on tackling challenges, and I often learned about errors and solutions that I hadn’t encountered on my own. It also helped me practice troubleshooting in a collaborative environment, which sharpened my problem-solving skills. However, there were a few instances where the pairing didn’t work as smoothly, often due to mismatched learning speeds or expectations, which could be frustrating and slow down progress.

I was very happy and impressed with my time at Le Wagon. The course is structed incredibly well, starting with core programming basics and ending with combining everything you learnt throughout the course with the Rails framework, as well as building... Read More a few different projects. Of course, a bootcamp can't teach you everything as they only have a limited time with you, so some parts felt a little rushed. I don't think this is Le Wagon's fault though, and I was pretty impressed with how they managed to cram all that they did into the course. What I really loved is that they taught you a lot of best coding practices and principles, as well as giving lots of advice along the way.

The teachers are very knowledgeable and were always so happy to go above and beyond. I asked many questions, even more advanced topics early on, and my questions were always followed up, even if it meant a TA sending me a message later with links and extra information.
I came into the bootcamp with prior coding experience with C# and building video games as a hobby, so my main concern before it started was whether it would be challenging enough for me. I was definitely wrong, even in the beginning weeks they had optional challenges that really put my skills to the test.

I also loved the vibe and culture within the school. Every Saturday they bought drinks for everyone and we did live coding together. That, along with the buddy system, it really encouraged everyone to help each other and foster great friendship. The school really pushed us to be ambitious, especially with the final project and there was a lot of help and encouragement along the way.

If you're on the fence, I highly recommend pulling the trigger and giving it a go. Especially if you are eligible for the HelloWork subsidiary as you can get a substantial amount of money back after. Lastly, on the topic of finances. I was really impressed with how flexible they were. They were happy for me to pay in installments, and were really relaxed about it. I paid the whole amount on the final month (minus the deposit of course), which really helped me manage the cost.

Pros:
- The professors are good, and they are always willing to help you.
- You can automatically verify if your exercise is correct or not.

Cons:
-If your intention is to find a job after the bootcamp, I have to say that only if you have a previous career... Read More in engineering will you likely find a job in data.
-After the bootcamp, nobody asks if you need any help.
-In my opinion, it is overpriced.
