Nucamp is on a mission to make quality education accessible and affordable to everyone. Nucamp’s online curriculum offers the structure of daily, self-scheduled lessons, quizzes, and challenges, with mentoring and peer support available in our Discord channels, plus 1 day/week a real-time, collaborative workshop of an average of 15 students per class, led by their instructor.
Student Support: Office hours with your instructor are available at least weekly or by appointment. Students are encouraged to attend and ask questions related to lessons, exercises, and projects. Students also have access to a class forum, a dedicated class chat channel and cohort chat channel, and are encouraged to use these channels to help others and seek help from classmates and mentors. Additionally, students can access online resources at any time for additional support.
Students are held accountable to the bootcamp’s timeline with a summary assignment due weekly. Students also have the opportunity to build a portfolio project which will be a key asset to their future job search.
Nucamp offers career services and 1:1 career coaching to graduates of our vocational bootcamps. These graduates have lifetime access to their online lessons, including updates, and exclusive access to a nationwide job board tailored to Nucamp graduates in the US.

"Good boot camp, but...beware"

The lecture material is great and you learn a lot from it.
The workshop instructor was also a big help and was very approachable in answering any questions I had.
I am a person who learns by reading and seeing a ton of examples in a textbook format.
Therefore, the only recommendation I have to improve future workshops is to have some sort of textbook to accompany the lecture material and give students the choice to either watch lectures or read from the text book.
Otherwise, the workshop was a success in in my honest opinion and everything else should be kept the same.
