I couldn't have been happier to have chosen him as my lead instructor - He even helped me land my first job before I graduated!

I was very fortunate to have learned to code from the gentlemen at Rithm School. For full disclosure I did not attend Rithm School, but was taught to code by the founders at another establishment. I met the founders/instructors of Rithm School while attending... Read More another school during the spring/summer of 2016. I can honestly say I've never met more patient or articulate educators. I had made previous attempts at learning to code both independently and through various groups/platforms, but nothing like my experience with Elie, Matt, Tim & Janey. They met people where they were and fostered a spirit of collaboration and support amongst their students. When the lecture wasn't enough they made themselves available for eye opening individual sessions where a discussion about any part of the curriculum or an encouraging chat were fair game. I can say beyond preparing me and helping me land my first role in tech they have continued to play a supportive role in my professional development. I think the single best quality of the team at Rithm school is their accessibility. They are invested in you and when it's these guys that's exactly what you want.

Elie, Matt and Tim are passionate teachers who went above and beyond to help me succeed. Their lectures and exercises emphasized on understanding and applying the material. Thanks to them, I'm now more confident than I have ever been in my problem solving and web development abilities.

I did not attend Rithm School so cannot speak to it specifically, but I was lucky enough to learn from two of the teachers/founders (Tim Garcia and Elie Schoppik) at another bootcamp. They specialize in different areas of web and software development,... Read More but both possess a combination of teaching ability and programming expertise that makes them uniquely well suited to their work.
Elie, who is a self-taught developer, understands where people starting out in one of these programs are coming from. He is able to right-size new concepts to the appropriate level and grow with students as they each develop a more nuanced understanding of the material.
Tim's depth of experience lower down in the stack makes him an invaluable resource beyond the front end. Tim has both extensive experience in the industry (key when preparing students for interviews) and a more traditional CS background (which he uses to demystify commonly used algorithms). His knowledge of the underlying processes and protocols that allow the internet to function comprised some of the most interesting lectures in the course, and are absolutely fundamental to becoming a functional developer.
Their decision to create a bootcamp focused on on preparing students to work in production environments, emphasizing tools and practices that are de rigueur in the workplace but that many bootcamps gloss over, indicates the clarity of their vision and the attention paid to its execution. I believe students attending Rithm School can anticipate an excellent experience.
