If you need a strong classroom setting to learn, I would not recommend this program. There are instructor led sessions but they focus more on troubleshooting and specific questions than covering the breadth of the learning material. I am just now starting to look for a job in my new field and I do feel the program has prepared me to get my foot in the door.

I really learned a lot from the program. It is a great bootcamp for any student who is already in the field or who want switch the cybersecurity field. The projects give more practices. However, it is important to remeber that while taking this course all the knowledge you will obtain, which is vast and detailed, serves as an introduction and essentially serves as an introduction to web developing. The idea is to be introduce to the core concepts and for you to go out in the qorld and continue the journey learning other technologies and codes.

I completed the Web Development boot camp from A&M Kingville recently. I found the process of getting into the program easy. Read More The instructors I was in contact with were very knowledgeable and great resources to have. I personally had been studying some coding on my own before applying. I was still very new to coding but had some base level experience. I recommend exposing yourself to HTML, Python, and JavaScript basics before jumping in. The curriculum itself was easy to understand and navigate. As technology and software are continually being updated, some of the modules could use a little bit of updating as well. This wasn't a major issue as the instructors have the experience to get you through any outdated curriculum. At the time that I found this boot camp I had been looking at a lot of different boot camps. I had a lot of trouble getting accepted for financing with other boot camps because of some past financial hardship. A&M/Qucik Start ended up working out for me because it was just affordable enough. I was worried that because of it's lower price point that it would not be high enough quality. I was wrong. I learned a lot and I feel more prepared for a career as a web developer. I have not found employment yet as a web developer but this is not any fault of Quick Start or A&M. I've spent time with the career assistance department and they have been very helpful. Overall my time with A&M's web development boot camp has been a positive. It is a self paced program which every student should think about before applying. It's a lot of work and requires a lot of time. They won't hold your hand through the course but the resources are there if you need them.

I felt supported the while time, through bi-weekly mentor sessions, weekly self-paced, and one on one support when needed. I have just finished the bootcamp and I am looking into possible opportunities for my official career change. I would recommend this course to anyone that is looking to get into web development.

Again, I took the UI/UX design bootcamp, NOT the web development bootcamp. This website, for whatever reason, didnt have an option for UI/UX. Anyway, here is my review.

Cons: inconsistent payment methods (used one platform then suddenly switched to another without warning); inconsistent payment deadlines - for 2 months it'll be due on the 24th but the next month it'll be due on the 13th and they wont send an notification email until THE DAY BEFORE IT IS DUE; assignments in learning modules do not line up with assignments given during instructor meetings; instead of giving the information straight to us in the modules, they gave multiple lists of external resources (links to other websites); staff tends to be late with their zoom meetings despite putting heavy emphasis on students attending them

To be 100% transparent, I want to say that the modules are outdated. That being said you can learn from them but you have to learn more outside of the class for sure. The man is juggling a ton of students and works multiple jobs he is really a machine. I would take this boot camp again because the cost and payment plan were affordable for me and I am able to learn and have figured out how to teach myself concepts within programming languages. You get what you give and you will be happy if you put a lot of time and effort into this bootcamp. It is super fast paced so keep up and work ahead if you can (they will tell you not to but do anyways; you may be able to have a weekend off if you do). Hope this is helpful to someone out there.
