Read More Your Applied Labs class is great stepping stone into helping me achieve that endeavor. I definitely learned a lot of practical knowledge that I am taking back to my work immediately. Furthermore, all the fundamentals that I think are needed in order for one person to start on that journey and be successful with Python are available in the class. Both weekends were amazing! I definitely appreciate that it was on a weekend, as this allowed me as a working professional to take full advantage of the time to ask questions, get involved in the curriculum and truly learn.

Course is structured so that any one regardless of background can learn. I graduated with a background in business and by taking the Dev Masters course was able to quickly learn what I wanted to about data science. While the... Read More program offers a lot of office hours to take advantage of most of the work to go beyond simple understanding must be done on your own outside of the classroom. The teachers are very good at explaining the overall concepts and helping with specific problems, but just sitting through the classes will not get you enough experience to really learn the subject.

The classes themselves are taught very well and supplemented with a lot of hands on learning experiences. You can even tailor your hands on projects to what you specifically want to learn.

I would recommend this course to anyone whose primary goal is to learn how they can leverage data science in their respective field.

The only downside to consider is that due to the rigorous nature of the material and amount of information that is possible to learn most of the work done to be successful must be done on your own or with some assistance with specific questions during office hours

I found Dev Masters and ended up taking the Mastering Applied Data Science . It helped me build a strong Foundation in Python and Machine Learning Concepts which are crucial part of data science learning. Although the classes are fast paced, the instructors are great & they answered all my queries. One of the great thing about applied labs is working on Projects which helped me a lot in honing my skills.I have implemented a lot of Python based data cleaning/data visualization skills in my current job position. Read More learn all of it via exercises and projects, during class we would work through a whole project to learn the new concepts. Also if we got stuck at any part, the teacher would provide us with the time we needed during class and extra hours because we were a reduce group in class, allowing us to focus and lean on each other when we needed it. Going though their program was a great experience for me, my skills increased exponentially and although I code before in different languages but python, now I feel really comfortable with it. As part of it, we can always come back if we want to review any part of the program or if they introduce any new topic. Read More Rarely are there programs that can accurately say that the projects presented during the course are industry relevant & that is what theDevMasters not only guaranteed to me when I first approached them, but also delivered.

My portfolio of projects now has a real world problems that I received guidance for,In addition to their proven method of teaching data science, the time that I spent in class was as valuable as the time I spent outside of class: a total of almost 200 hours with the material I was given throughout the course that kept on being able to work on again & again. Let me explain: several days of the program built upon each other so there will definitely be a new concept or hands-on approach that can be implemented to a previous project given during class. I truly believe this is the sole reason why my data science skills have gotten to such a high leveled stage in so little time: theDevMasters' & their perfectly seasoned flavor of teaching by projects & not just on concepts. Happily, I ran into The Dev Masters group & they proved to me time & time again attending the course that no other school could have given me the personalized training the way I needed, starting from materials before the first day to bring me up to speed with everyone else in my class in Python programming & statistics. What solidified how much depth & knowledge I have in data science now is the fact that concepts (from machine learning to deep learning) that were introduced were not only built upon each other but re-established in projects throughout the course. Each & every project had a purpose to teach me how to apply what I just learned, but also show me where my weaknesses were. Of course, it took time, the 12 weekends back to back is a commitment; but it is said that to really master something, you need at least 10k hours into it. Well, The Dev Masters helped me gain my first 500 hours & I will be coming back to their consistent updates to gain even more hours (especially in their upcoming artificial intelligence continuation courses). Thankfully, the instructors at The Dev Masters were there every step of the way making sure I understood everything while pushing me to my limits. It’s worth the ton of hours spent on learning, and to get it right even if I missed my free weekends. However, I would still do the course all over again no matter the loads of hard work I put into. When I was finished, they will give me more things to work on, all the instructors were more than happy to help me, and discuss any doubts even after hours or via email making sure we were not left behind. It was a great experience, I got more than I paid for, and I meet people from all facets of life.
