You are not thrown straight into the deep end and it felt like a nice gradual incline in technical skills, and by the end of the course I felt well equiped to look for work. I am very happy pleased I did this as I was able to find work for myself within the first month of completion.

The program was not easy but the tutors made it simple and fun to go through. Having a bit experience in coding, I wasn't really looking forward to the coding aspect but it was made so simple that I enjoyed it. The tutors also supported in making sure... Focus on presenting to a non-technical audience was also very useful - we did this every week during the course which prepared me very well for my current job in which i have to present regularly. The team were genuinely committed to helping people find work and helped immensely with building confidence, having a presence on LinkedIn, and building a portfolio that demonstrated strong technical skills. We also had the opportunity to work on our presentation skills every week so that we felt more able to translate technical information to audiences with a range of backgrounds. The bootcamp had a great blend of teaching, independent study and project work. You get what you put in. If you work hard and stay committed to completing the bootcamp, you'll find that coveted tech job pretty soon.

Read More focus on front-end development, moving on to back-end development and ending with a full stack MERN App .For a mum from a non coding background, I learnt to code in a scarily short space of time .It’s all thanks to the Academy’s well structured self-learning modules, tutors’ incredible support and recordings of the live coding sessions. Learning on your own is great, but nothing can replace learning from experienced developers. In addition to that, regular career sessions provided great support from perfecting cv, applying for jobs, preparing for interviews to meeting potential employers from the industry . Within just few weeks of finishing the course, I got hired for a fully remote Software Tester role !
