Course Description:

The final step in the data science journey at UpCode Academy, this Data Science (Python) course will equip students with practical skills using the Python language.

Students will learn to use and operate libraries such as Pandas, NumPy and Surprise to prepare data and build effective recommendation systems. Students will also be taught key data libraries, namely Pandas, Numpy and Matplotlib; these libraries are responsible for data loading, mathematical computations and data visualisation respectively. Course materials provided will serve as a useful reference that supports post-course revision and practice.

Course Description:

Web Development (Ruby on Rails) is a beginner course in understanding and building web applications using the Ruby on Rails framework.

Students will learn to develop web applications using Ruby on Rails, and familiarize with core concepts behind Ruby on Rails, such as CoC (Convention Over Configuration) and MVC (Model-View-Controller). Lessons include hands-on exercises in building web applications, from working with databases, to deploying a complete application to Heroku.
