Gregg Andrews When I started the Web Design program at Austin Coding Academy, I was a total newbie to the world of coding and UX/UI. I was looking for a school that was affordable and could teach me the skills to become a web designer. Now, after completing the program, I feel like I received a bargain. The curriculum is rigorous but the instructors are great at breaking down the material so newbies like me could understand. The staff was very accessible and reached out to me often to make sure I was progressing in the program. After just a couple weeks into the Intro 101 class, I made my first website and by the end of the class, I was creating basic Javascript Games. In the 231 Intermediate and the 331 Advanced classes, I learned about UX/UI, advanced CSS, SEO, Google Analytics, PHP, Wordpress, and the business skills needed to be a freelancer. The program ended with a capstone project developing a custom Wordpress website. For those who are serious about learning web design and are willing to put in the work to make it happen, ACA is the school for you.
