| | Doug Pfeffer | This was an amazing experience. A full day of HTML and CSS, closing out with presenting not only something that I created, but also something that I created in a team environment.
The instructor was great, and very patient. As a veteran, I understand that I will need a structured experience.....and Code Fellows certainly seems like the pace that I need. Very veteran-friendly. |
| | Chase McFaddin | I took the 101 course today, and let me say as someone with zero coding experience, they make it a easy and smooth process. In as little as 8 hours, we had built a website and had a solid understanding of HTML and CSS. Instructors and multiple TAs were available which gave way for multiple perspectives and different helpful tips. I would highly recommend this class to anyone even just debating getting into coding. |
| | Young | I am an active duty military member who is looking to transition in about 18 months. I took Code Fellows 101: Software Development Course to find out whether I am up for software development as my second career. I was a bit intimidated at the beginning of the course but I was very encouraged by other students from all walks of life; varying degrees of experiences; and different phases of life, in the course with me. Also, though it was only one day course, the class was very well structured and covered A-Z of basic web development. By the end of the class I made my first website which was very cool. |
| | Matthew Holder | I tried an edx.org course and it was pretty intimidating and I felt like I didn't learn anything and like the teachers weren't really interested in teaching. Here I feel like I could honestly start creating some semi-decent websites after just one day. The TAs and instructor were VERY involved and explained everything very well. This was overall an amazing experience. |
