| | Zac Allen | Started in the Code Institute in June 2019 after deciding to switch careers. I had secured my first job as a developer by December 2019 and all through the interview process I was supported by the Careers team, namely Jane Gormley in particular who would give me as much advice on what the interview might contain. After 8 months of working in that role, Jane reached out to me to let me know of a careers talk on Zoom with Adyen. I decided to apply for the role of Support Engineer after and ended up getting offered the position! So my last 2 positions have been down to the careers support in Code Institute! I'm now in the process of packing my bags and getting ready to move to Amsterdam to begin my new job there! |
| | Alessio Centamore | Absolutely a fantastic experience, the tutoring support is fantastic and those guys helped me a lot during the course.
As soon as new and more up-to-date material was created for the course I been enrolled to it.
I also asked for an extension of the course due to the coronavirus pandemic (I felt overwhelmed for a while by so many difficult situations), they gave me an extra 5 months at no cost.
I have been called many times by their customer support to check how I was doing and if I had any questions regarding the course.
If I see what I am capable of doing now compared to the beginning, I am a completely different person and I have been given all the tools to continue learning on my own.
It is not an easy course, it took a lot of effort and time, I found myself spending months just for a milestone project, and also it is definitely not a cheap course, but I am happy with the time and money I have spent with them and I know I got now a solid foundation to change my career into what I love to do.
Matt Rudge, what a lecturer, I am honoured to have learned from you! |
