Tia Fouroohi I have always been interested in coding, but came from a background with little to no tech experience. A friend of mine had completed Coding Dojo and spoke so highly of it, so I attended an open house and was convinced from there on out. From the open house up until graduation day, I received an immense amount of support from all the staff involved- you could say that I was setup for success from the start. From setting up realistic payment plans or asking for help on an assignment, it was nice knowing that I had such a large support system guiding me through the entire bootcamp. Although the 14 weeks were challenging, I learned so much about myself and my abilities that I didn't realize I had before. Not only did my communication and time management skills improve, I can now proudly say that I am a Full Stack Developer. If you are willing to put in the time and effort, I would absolutely recommend this program to anyone.
Luis Espinoza I graduated from coding dojo towards the end of November where I learned 3 full stacks (Python, Java, and React). The first couple of weeks were very overwhelming, I had never been thrown so much information all at once like at the dojo. However, once you get the hang of things, it’s not so bad after all. Luckily for the students, the TA’s and instructors are really good at their job. Teaching code to people who may or may not have ever read a single line of code before can be very tough, but the instructors manage to pull it off. The schedule is typically 9am-3 with a break usually around 12pm-2pm, sometimes earlier! The break in between however is used to not only have lunch but to work on your many assignments you will be given. Although there are a ton of assignments, NONE of them ever feel like busy work. Every assignment is given to you for a reason, and are altered (or sometimes completely removed) through feedback the students give. I’d say my overall experience at the dojo was a 10/10, would recommend to a friend.

This bootcamp is great, all you have to do is stay dedicated and on top of assignments and in no time you'll be a full-stack developer. The Career Services is also great because they help you craft the perfect resume for tech to show off your projects and past experience in a way that your current resume might not!
