I'm really glad that I finally found Coding Nomads. But I had to do it the hard way. I've tried to learn programming in a few different ways. First on my own, but I found that I hit a wall because I couldn't always find the answers that I needed. Sometimes the material is just difficult to understand, especially when you do not have any background in programming. So, then I tried a fairly expensive bootcamp. They were all about proving they could work you to death. Some of the teachers were great, but the pace was just ridiculous. In the end, it really seemed more about them than me. Learning suffered for no good reason, other than their bottom line. The content was also really imbalanced. Some of it was old and not even written well. Honestly, for the amount of money they charged and all the promises, I really expected more than that. As you might have guessed, that ended in disappointment and a feeling of having been ripped off. However, with Coding Nomads, I found the right mix of what I needed. They are much more focused on letting you learn. It’s not designed to be easy, but it is not hard either. The learning materials and content are very good. The structure is good. The pace is good. The cost is particularly good (nowhere near as ridiculous as some boot camps). I have always gotten my questions answered. They are way more focused on my individual learning needs. I have learned way more with Coding Nomads than anywhere else. It was also a much more pleasant environment that is well-balanced in many ways. Would I recommend this education to a friend? Yep! With all that I know and have experienced it’s really a no-brainer. Because of my prior experiences, I researched the heck out of Coding Nomads. I did not make a fast decision. I took more time. I spoke to them, before signing up. I wasn’t passed through a chain of salespeople and phony processes to see if I qualified. I actually talked to my soon-to-be mentor. That made a big difference. More importantly, they have delivered. No false promises. I got everything that was promised and then some. I plan to continue on with their more advanced courses. Do your due diligence and you will see why I say this is a no-brainer. Good luck!
