I learned a tremendous amount at Developers Institute, and went from nearly zero coding experience to building out complex Django applications in 3 months. The full time Python course was super intense, you will not magically become a good coder by signing up - be prepared to put in 10 hours a day for a full 3 months! I do still feel that there were many gaps in my knowledge and lack of clarity in certain areas. This is mostly because of the inherent time constraints of a 3 month program and my own non-optimal levels of effort and energy, but there were a few issues during my session which were noteworthy. The main teachers and assistants were FANTASTIC - super clear, helpful and enthusiastic - but some of the other teachers that taught small parts of the course were very difficult to understand (not native English speakers) and/or did not explain things clearly. Also a lot of the written coursework on the learning platform was poorly written or unclear, which sometimes made it difficult to properly execute assignments. The administration was very responsive to feedback though and I believe has already fixed a lot of those issues (including changing some staff around), so hopefully future sessions will be much smoother. I do wish that there was more of a focus on fundamentals and theory in the curriculum though, because I feel that rushing through them may have made my understanding of practical applications incomplete, though it was probably necessary in order to cover the amount that we did. Post-bootcamp job support has been EXCELLENT. The dedicated internship coordinator is a huge help with resume writing, networking with companies and ultimately making sure that everyone gets an internship. Developers Institute also has various sessions for students, where industry experts give lectures on everything from practical interview advice, to new technologies in the software industry. There are also extra curricular workshops on extra coding skills, and one on one job search coaching sessions are available as well.
