| | Charlie Deese | I found this program right after I discovered my passion for marketing, but I was struggling to find both the position and the professional development I needed to move forward. When I found DCI, I knew it was the perfect fit for me. Once you're accepted into L2 apprenticeship, they immediately act as your recruiter in Austin and/or San Antonio. Within a few weeks, I had three interviews lined up and quickly had three offers. This model was so useful for me, as I was living in another state at the time and it was hard to even get phone interviews without being a local candidate. But with DCI acting as my recruiter, I was much better positioned to find the kind of role I wanted.
The program itself was so refreshing in that it was hands-on learning at all times. This is honestly the kind of experience that most college grads desperately need but rarely have the opportunity. Because I was doing work I loved during the day and learning how to do it better at night, my career accelerated quickly. I was promoted twice in 6 months to a senior leadership role within my company.
The instructors genuinely care about your success and are there with you every step of the way. And I always felt that extra layer of security that if I needed a new job during the program, they had my back and would help me find a new role quickly.
