| | Satrajit Sengupta | Simplilearn provided me a platform where I can upskill myself at my own pace. As an alumni I was provided 8 masters courses at a very nominal price. The content was excellent. The self learning and the downloadable documents were good enough in many case to pass the simulation exam and also the project.
Practice labs are provided for all essential courses like Cloud, Big Data and Mean Stack Developer. Those labs are sufficient to pass certification like AWS SA Associate or Azure Developer Associate if used properly. |

First of all they sold this course with lot of false promises:
1. There will be only 20 students in a batch.
2. This programme is not for beginners. Intermediate Java knowledge is required.
3. Technical support will help you within 24 hrs for any problem
4. Live classes by industry experts
5. Self learning material
Reality:
1. Almost 50 students in 1 batch
2. Most of the students are beginners or who never worked in Java and with 50 students the class is a total chaos and even in live classes they will teach very basic stuff which we can learn from anywhere.
3. Technical support does not reply even after 4 days.
4. Live classes are one of the worst thing. Instructor is worst . First of all he is not industry expert and he gets stuck even with simple problems. Whenever we ask any doubt either he will not answer or if he answers then answers are vague and ambiguous. We have asked so many times Simplilearn to change him but the company is not ready to provide us a good instructor.
Live classes won't cover everything. Whenever we have requested to take advance topics , answer will be ", I have been instructed by Simplilearn to cover only those topics which are mentioned in slides". Even the ppt's are 3 years old.
5. Self learning material is 3-4 years old. Few of the things are deprecated. Self learning videos are very bad. Most of the the self learning videos contains function definition and declaration and there is no explanation. Trainers are just reading PPts.
Right now, I am learning everything either from Udemy or Youtube or any other site
Don’t waste you hard earned money. I have wasted 70K on this course but everything I am learning from outside. After talking with 10-15 friends, everyone told that they had been given false promises. I think associates are trained in this way. If you call associate couple of times then they will block your number.
My only advise is pls don’t waste your money it is one of the worst platform. |
| | Kiran Mohan Nair | Pros 1) Simplilearn manages this so professionally. 2) Time management from the Simplilearn and the trainer (Tim). 3) Clarification and clarify from the trainer (Tim). 4) Written material would have never been enough. Would definitely recommend a live session. 5) Post session clarity on topics from the trainer helps some slow learners. Cons Wish Simplilearn had a magic wand to help us get through the exams. LOL. Thank you Simplilearn. |

I signed up and now at the end of the session I find I made a good decision. The journey with Tim Jerome was a fascinating one. The course content and time allocation was wonderful. Each topic was discussed well in detail and the class notes became a very rich source of information and practice guideline. I feel confident that I will pass in my first attempt after following the exam preparation guideline given by Simplilearn. |
