| | Ilja Nikolski | The thing that I liked the most was the communication between students and trainers. Trainers were always helpful and tried to solve our issues, especially in the beginning when most of us made some mistakes like missing a semicolon. Another good thing was the structure of the course, we learned everything step by step, however, sometimes there was a little too much of an information to handle. |

For example, Java course not only gives understanding of Java and its advanced frameworks (like SPRING), but gives basic understanding of SQL, web development, testing and much more. The main pros and cons in SDA approach is the same - it deeply depends on lecturers and their ability to lead group. Our group received a great mentor in Giorgi Tsiklauri, who managed not only to give us required knowledge, but also with his personal involvement to set an overall attitude to be a good Java developer. Also I would like to thank Barbara Ciach for her positiveness and willingness to help. I highly recommend SDA courses. |
| | Iza | The course is a great option to learn the basics of testing. With Gosia support, who is always helpful, you can prepare a CV and social media profiles that will allow you to stand out in the labour market. Recommendable course for beginners, but I don’t recommend paying extra for the Job Guarantee package. In fact, it doesn’t give you any assurance of getting a job. You’ll recive job offers, but whether there will be a response from the recruiter is a lottery, no guarantee. |
| | David | I have managed to successfully change my career and I've become a junior software developer in 15 months starting really from scratch, while working at the same time. SDA course "Java from scratch" played a big role in that and gave me a solid footing on Java and in other relevant technologies. Be aware that of course there is a need for effort on your side, but what SDA's course will provide is a well designed curriculum that will introduce you to some of the most pertinent technologies, guidelines and ways of thinking of the professional software developers. With that you will be able to find your own way on the industry and you would have acquired not only valuable (and valued) knowledge but also the skills that will make you face successfully new questions and challenges related with software developing. Trainers are real professionals on the field in addition of passing knowledge who can offer really valuable insight about what is on demand on the industry at that time. In addition to that, they offer some real support for graduates after the end of the course in aspect like preparing for interviews, offering some useful advice about CV or even passing information about recruitment processes. All that can be very useful in order to move forward after finishing. |
