Respond to a Review

Responses should answer questions and address concerns raised in the review or clarify information about your school. Once we authenticate that you are an official school representative, we will publish your response under the corresponding review. Each review is limited to one response, but you may submit a new response to replace the previous one. Please restrict comments to addressing the content of the review in question and refrain from including advertising/promotional material or unrelated exchanges. Official representatives will have the option to make a contact email available, but please avoid directing users from our site through other means.

Pros: - everything is explained very clearly in terms of deadlines, webinar dates and what to expect from the course - Slack is a great tool where you can meet other students from around the world and also chat with people from the school - all questions are responded to very quickly and efficiently and everyone who works for the school is very nice - the course touches on basically all points necessary to get started in UX Cons: - too many metaphors used in the videos (I can see why it is useful to make parallels in order to simplify concepts, but it is used way too much) - the content is a bit too generic and basic and never really delves deep into any topic, which isn't good at all. For example, usability testing is discussed in two 3 or 4 minute videos! - the modules regarding how to use programs like Sketch and Axure are not really helpful. I already knew both programs before the course, so for people who know them, the modules are unnecessary and forced to take, and for people who don't know them, the content is so rudimentary, I don't see how it would help anyone learn the programs. Overall, a lot of content presented nicely and in bit sized chunks, so you do get a complete overview of all topics of UX fundamentals, BUT I wish things could be covered more in depth, even a little bit!
