A little about me, I am switching my entire career, from Automotive repair to computers given I have a little computer background from the 90s doing a little bit of everything from installing windows to learning visual basic for dummies! and in 2k I decided to do automotive repair went to school got ASE certified been doing it for 20 years I've owned a business, I've been an independent contractor (mechanic), and I've had a boss! I've been at the bottom and I've been at the top and I have been everywhere in between, I lost my business started working again and since covid happened my hrs got cut, you get the rest so I chose cyber security. Something less back breaking! -The Pros Excellent Coach Michael G. Detailed information / when there's a question there's always an answer! I just started my bootcamp and from what I've learned, I passed my first course on hardware and operating system fundamentals. There's a lot more to go and with Michael G. On my side I am sure ill do well. Excellent Academic Advisor Aly L. Aly has been my go-to guy for everything, from asking about how and what I should do about taking exams and what I should focus on, what exact subject, particular information I should pay attention to, and what I should do to further my career in this field, I feel like there's a lot in this boot camp. Excellent labs / live lectures / real people you can talk with. The rest is study study being self paced I recommend you study! The best part is, job support after you complete the bootcamp. -The Cons. I don't think there are any? I just started, so there's that and that's pretty much it. I will Update this when I am done with my bootcamp. Furthermore - my take on everything; so far so good! |
