Doreen Ntumy Being part of Developers in Vogue is a great opportunity for me as a young African woman who is interested in technology. I got the chance to learn JavaScript and then worked with a pair programmer to build an app called iTraffic. iTraffic is a Web Application that Controls traffic. This was my first time working on a project with a partner. Though not easy, we pulled through, and even received an award for our project. Developers in Vogue is a sisterhood where we code, connect, collaborate! Developers in Vogue encourages you to update your LinkedIn account every week and this helps so much because people get to see the amazing things we are up to. They also gave me the opportunity to partake in the 2018 Hacklab, one of the biggest hackathons in Ghana. By being part of Developers in Vogue, I get to attend most of the tech meetups and events. Did I forget to say no one is left behind? I will recommend this life-changing bootcamp to other girls because there are so many opportunities that will help them sharpen their skills to be amazing women in tech. #LetASisterKnow
