Greer Relphorde I am writing this to try to help save you from the situation I now find myself in. I am an additional 15,000 in debt to sallie Mae (closer to 17,000 now with interest just over the 6 month “grace period” following the Coding Bootcamp. I did not learn a thing, I was passed along many different “mentors”, and did barely functional projects, during the group project I my “mentor” “showed” me how to do everything. Here I am 15,000 more in debt and no coding knowledge acquired. I do blame myself for hopping into the program but I thought a Berkeley affiliate would be more reputable. I’m writing this in the distress of 300 more dollars of debt a month for the next 6 years (the cost of a decent used car) with no new skills, no gained knowledge. The thought of the cost is not as daunting when you expect to have this new well paying job they advertise when they’re trying to get you to sign up for the class. The screen process is a joke. It’s overall infuriating and has changed my life in the worst way.
