When I was looking to for a front end dev bootcamp I looked at many, but Skillcrush with their online stories from the CEO, instructors and students seemed like a good fit for my learning style; casual, supportive, friendly, and goal oriented. Plus the price is very reasonable. So I signed up and halfway I must highly recommend Skillcrush. The curriculum is well organized with good information (content, links, video) and you learn at your own pace. In each section you are presented a topic, and then you code and try. I've made many coding mistakes but the way content is presented I could successfully figure out how to fix my bugs pretty easily. And if you get stuck there is always help from the instructors/other students who respond to you really quickly via email or Slack. They really set you up for success and there's a super ton of encouragement. Think happy thought here! Finally they are looking out for the student long term. What do you want to do with this knowledge? They provide help and tips on how to get a job, start a new tech career, freelance. I'm super stoked and motivated to finish this course! Skillcrush is a great opportunity to learn tech skills and do something positive! Good luck.
Anita Chin As with anything new there will always have bumps in the road to understanding a new field. I love Skillcrush.. I have never felt so empowered ! Learning CSS, HTML, Git and GitHub as the first steps into coding was so exciting and you get this warm fussy feeling mixed with a bit of anxiety. I will say whenever I hit a bump in the road and felt that this was a mistake- the team of instructors have been there to answer my 'silly' questions or helping navigate me out of a road block. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I would recommend this to anyone!
