Tirthajyoti Ghosh I am 6 months into the program right now. I have learned so many things in these 6 months. And I have not paid a single cent yet. It's true - we don't pay Microverse anything until we get a job that pays us $1000+/month. Microverse has truly changed my life. In about a month, I would be moving to career prep and start job searching. I feel confident about that. I feel confident about building industry-standard projects (I am building one right now!). Not only the technical knowledge but also the professional skills needed work in the software dev industry. And this all because of Microverse. Did Microverse teach me all this? No. I taught all this myself. Microverse provided me the tools and resources to teach myself. The Student Success team constantly motivated me to move forward. My stand-up team and all of my coding partners held me accountable each day to make progress. I collaborated with coding partners from all over the world and made 30+ projects in HTML & CSS/ RUBY/ RUBY ON RAILS/ JAVASCRIPT/ REACT& REDUX. Most importantly, Microverse taught me how to learn. At Microverse, we teach ourselves because when you land a job you need to learn their culture, their codebase, their best practices, their documentation. There won't be any "teachers" or "classrooms" where you would sit and take note of these things. You need to teach yourself. Of course, there are people who would help you. That's why we have mentors, TSEs, and most importantly Student Success. Microverse has a dedicated career service team that works with you throughout your job search and just like you, they don't stop until you land a job. Lastly, I have seen many negative reviews here. Before you give them much thought, ask them to reveal their names, ask them to own their reviews, ask them to take responsibility for what they speak and not hide behind their screens and spread spam.
