James Willeford This was an amazing way to quickly learn how to build a design system. Zander is super informative and breaks things down from a philosophy, documentation, and execution. Each week was a great way to jump in our tools and work together while working with Zander 1:1 to answer questions and help. For years I've worked on teams with design systems and thought I knew a good amount. Once I started building one for my own team, I started to see missing details. Zander filled in a lot of that information in his class. So many things that have changed in my process from this course. I can't wait to go back and rewatch our classes to continue to add more to my playbook!!!
Matthew Stenquist Memorisely is a no-frills straight to the point bootcamp that excels at teaching today's modern product design, user interface and experience, workflow in Figma, Miro, Notion, and more by throwing you right into the deep end head first with a hands-on approach to learn by actively doing rather than listening to a lecture and following a powerpoint slide. You'll be apart of a small cohort and be part of an exclusive Slack for designers that are in the bootcamp. With class sizes of less than 10 designers and 1:1 on time, Memorisely made me feel like I could get the attention I needed if I couldn't figure something out or follow along is tremendously valuable. The courses are well structured and novel that are incredibly sticky as you'll be following along and collaborating in each class session with homework assignments that build off the classes sessions. This learn by doing model is an incredible way to get your hands dirty with todays tools that will upskill your current design skillset and mindset. You'll be hard-pressed to find this type of learning in other bootcamps.
Charbel I'm really happy with this Figma Design System boot-camp. It was fun, engaging and hands-on class. Would recommend to anyone looking to get a better understanding of scaling Design Systems using Figma with a class of 10 designers from around the globe and learning by doing. Even if you don't use Figma Zander will give a quick walkthrough to the team on the first lesson. He will keep explaining tricks for Figma, and everyone in the class will also share their knowledge, which is also helpful as you get to see how other designers do things when they design. I like that Zander asks the class how we do things as he is demonstrating something to see if we do things different or similar to how he does it. There are weekly tasks which allow us to use what we learnt in class, and we also get a recording of our classes for future reference which is helpful. Zander is very knowledgeable very easy to talk to and work with is a pretty chill instructor, really good vibes from him. I really enjoy the boot-camp and the one on one's which were useful and helpful as well, when you join Memorisely you get access to an exclusive Slack for designers that are doing different classes on the bootcamp.
