Gary Chong-Qui I never saw myself becoming a web developer but here I am... I decided to switch my career interest from the world of hospitality to the world of tech and it may be the best decision I have made in a while. This is a 10 week course that will definitely challenge you as a person and as a professional...I mention this because I want to highlight the fact that Wyncode's staff is AMAZING and will be there to support you every step of the way! The community they have built for learning is unmatched and will further encourage you to be your best self (not just for coding but in personal growth as well). Don't be afraid!!!!..take me as an example, I had zero knowledge regarding web dev and now I'm a full-stack web developer. You can do it too!
Gabrielle Folino What can I say about Wyncode? There is just so much! To start, the admissions team is wonderful, Raquel, Vasti, and Linda are so helpful and are so very patient with questions and any concerns you may have. I was chatting with them for months before officially applying. As well, Gessica the head instructor of the UXUI Program is amazing. She's thoughtful, engaging, and you trust that you're learning the true industry standards. We learned several industry programs and tools, and I feel confident going into my first UXUI job, knowing I'm prepared for whichever software a company uses. We had lectures about ideology and concepts and how to apply them to our design. We got nailed into our brains that the user is always first, and all design decisions must revolve around the user. Everything about the program is preparing us for "real life." My cohort had two briefs/ projects and for each we were provided the time to create a case study and portfolio site. We also had the opportunity to work with the Web Dev cohort for our second brief, so we were able to experience the collaboration and hand off that you would in a real company. The teaching assistants for both courses are amazing, and you trust they know what they are talking about. They're helpful, patient, loving even! Everyone at Wyncode truly feels like a family, even though we were remote! It was amazing. I was excited everyday to go to class, and being 3 hours behind Miami, you wouldn't expect to be excited to start class at 6:30am haha All in all, choose Wyncode, you won't regret it.
Natalie Ton Wyncode was an intense 10 weeks but very rewarding experience! If you put in the work, you will succeed. If I could do it again, I would in a heartbeat. All the staff members, instructors, TAs are experts in their field. Gessica is definitely the best instructor I've experienced in my life! And I feel very well-prepared for my new career path. The culture at Wyncode is very supportive, transparent and positive as well.
