The bootcamp's location will be the place where you'll be spending a significant amount of time while studying. The curriculum may be one of the best (if not the best currently in the Philippines) but the staff, location, and facilities are important factors that a potential student should look into while studying. My top 7 Cons: (1) Limited places to buy food unless you're willing to walk farther than usual, (2) Internet connection problems happen often, (3) Computers took a long time to boot up, (4) IDs provided for students were just a piece a paper (not a big deal but still a huge con for me), (5) At the time, we couldn't see what grade we got from each activity given, (6) One of our substitute instructors kept giving motivational phrases frequently which kind of is annoying (also not a big deal), and (7) Classroom temperature varies everyday (too hot, or too cold). My top 7 Pros: (1) Both available class locations (Makati City and Quezon City) at the time were accessible via the MRT train, (2) Seminars to prepare for job applications (resume making, job interview, technical exam preparation), (3) There are areas that students can eat in during breaks, (4) Microwave for heating food, (5) Clean toilets with bidet, (6) Staff are hygienic and professional, (7) You can wear a casual attire, and (Bonus) My instructor is the best (don't argue with me). Note: Since it's been over a couple of years since I've studied here. The cons mentioned here were hopefully addressed. Your experience will be greatly affected by who your instructor is. Hopefully you consider this bootcamp since it really helped me jumpstart my career in web development |
