Before joining the Code Institute course I didn't know how to code at all. Today I can build an e-commerce website from scratch! I switched career recently (employed 3 months after being graduated). In my opinion, Code Institute gave me all the necessary support I needed. The course is structured in modules that we can easily be accessed through their platform. Along the course, 4 Milestone Projects should be completed (2 frontend and 2 backend) which for me was a great learning curve and the Tutor Support always helped me to get through the most difficult pieces of code. When they were too busy at times they always came back to me explaining why was taking a little bit more time to sort it out leaving my mind at peace. The Career support was an essential piece to help me get through the door. I followed their channel on slack which is very helpful where you can find content to help you build your cv, cover letter and LinkedIn with great additional tips and also watched their webinar about careers and partner hiring companies. I recommend this course as it really made an impact for me, it gives a really good flavour of what you have to learn but never forgets that a developer's life is about internet research and that is a constant learning path, you won't leave Code Institute knowing all but you will definitely learn the essential basics to get you through. Also the online leraning gave me a great opportunity to learn how to work remotly!

I joined the Code Institute in March 2020 and graduated on December 2020. Before joining Code Institute I already knew that I can learn these technologies free or by paying minimal amount. But when you are a career changer and do not know coding then becoming a self taught programmer is bit more challenging. Further I listen few self taught programmer saying that they have also been seeking guidance from their friends who happened to be software developer. Thus my reasons to join Code Institute were; 1. Code Institute has a structure course (It gives you a clear path from start to end) 2. Credit Rated coding boot camp 3. 24/5 - Saturday and Sunday tutor support 4. A mentor is assigned to you for your guidance 5. Career Support This course is very challenging and as a career changer it requires commitment, focus and dedication from you. During the course I faced many frustrated moments where I was unable to debug the code then tutor support was my best friend to help me out. Besides this networking is very important and through Code Institute's slack channels I get know amazing people. Code Institute's career support team does amazing job. I got help to optimize my CV, Cover Letter and LinkedIn profile. Further career support channel regularly post jobs on their channel which are great opportunities. After completing Diploma in Full Stack Software Development from Code Institute, I landed on my first job in tech industry. I found this job through Code Institute career channel. Over all I had a great experience with Code Institute and I strongly recommend it.
