Devhaus Leipzig was an amazing experience for me. Coming from an computer science background in university, where I was pretty much lost, I felt that Dev House Leipzig provided me with a safe learning environment with amazing teacher and staff. The curriculum is very solid and gives you a great foundation. I think it doesn't hurt to look at some code before as it is super intense and you will learn so much everyday. So you'll be happy for everything that seems a bit familiar to you. I would also advise you not to have to much on the side as you will need all your energy to fully focus, repeat and internalize everything you will learn. Fortunately, you will have amazing teacher, who will always have time to answer all your questions and also give you the feeling that it's okay to ask. The teachers are amazing and super motivated and will explain you very complex stuff in a simple and understandable way. I also very much, appreciated the workshops and talks to that were offered to already peak into all the possibilities to you will have later. I could follow the development of Devhaus Leipzig over the last year and I am impressed by how they applied student feedback and wishes and especially how they handled the corona situation. And also socially it gave me so much! I met amazing people and was able to extend my network with inspiring empowering people. I really enjoy being part of the community, coming back to the space, exchanging experiences, supporting each other and informing each other about great programs. The main thing I took from this experience is how much Coding can be a social and fun thing. Thank you! Really one of the best decisions I made in my life. |
