What separates Product Gym from other offerings is the relentless focus on channeling product management knowledge into successful interviewing. There are many ways to learn the “academics” of product management but PG is unique in keeping the focus not only on learning the ropes but presenting effectively in interviews. That to me is the core of the value prop. There is also a healthy culture of collective support among members and I personally responded to the high-accountability, no sugar-coating approach of the founders. It’s a gym, not a spa, as they say... Pros: The core methodology behind attacking the interview process is worth the money alone, although it requires letting go of what you think you know about resumes, interviewing and how much effort is required. There is support for case study exercises, which is great, and weekly coaching sessions. Cons: Not for the faint of heart, i.e. you have to be willing to get out of your comfort zone to win. It's not a con so much as a fact, but speaking of facts, interviewing sucks so you might as well get good at it while you're at
