I was casually browsing my Facebook newsfeed around this time last year when I stumbled upon an ad from SDA. It said in the ad that it'll be offering a free webinar for programming enthusiasts. By the way, I have always considered myself a technology enthusiast, especially the technology that of behind computers that's why the ad was so interesting for me. So, I took the chance to attend it and got overwhelmed by the opportunities awaiting someone who wants to be a software developer. Cutting the story short, I enrolled in the remote course they offer called "Java from Scratch". It was an awesome experience and definitely, it made a huge upgrade on my skills and knowledge. Computer programming was never in my field of expertise since I spent almost 8 years of my life in a Catholic seminary. Yeah, I was a Roman Catholic seminarian back then. Without being said, I learned so much from the course. Java was not the only thing taught to us. Popular frameworks and stack of technologies were included in the package such as Angular, Spring Boot, and many more. What's more rewarding is that even before I finished the course I already got hired and offered a position as a Software Engineer. SDA did really great in helping me find my way to the IT world. Kudos!
