I have attended the 5 months full stack web development remote bootcamp with WCS and it was totally worth it! What's nice about this bootcamp is that you get to work on real projects and even on a real client project. At the end, you will have a portfolio of projects to showcase to potential employers plus experience in working in a team (something that most of the other bootcamps overlook). This bootcamp is 5 months long, which gives you enough time to digest all the new information that they teach you, unlike other 2-3 month long bootcamps that are rushing through the curriculum and you end up even more confused than you initially were. Sure, there are a lot of excellent free resources out there to help you learn how to code on your own but the difference is that this bootcamp gives you hands on experience and career guidance too. In other words, you will be fully prepared for a junior developer position after this course. I have found my first job as a developer one month after completion of the course and some of my fellow bootcampers found a job even quicker. However, if you are a complete beginner you will probably have a hard time keeping up with the amount of information you are going to learn so my advice is to study a bit of html, css and js before you join, it will make your life so much easier.
