Towards the end of the program, I worked on a decently in-depth project with an idea of my own. There are dozens of other smaller projects that I built along the way. I use those projects as part of my portfolio and resume for job applications. I also learned some algorithms and data structure concepts at the end of the program, plus practiced on interview questions. They also helped me polish my resume and linkedin profile. Word of advice, there is a lot of content to get through, don't plan on starting unless you can dedicate at least 10-20 hours a week studying.

Altcademy does a phenomenal job of reducing the curriculum down to digestible pieces. They then rebuild the principles from the ground up, providing a high level perspective that encapsulates the subject matter wonderfully. Some of the subject matter... Read More is inevitably difficult to grasp at points, but revisiting the teachings ensures at least one way through all the possible roadblocks. In the end, the mentors are there and responsive at every step of the way as well. On the brink of applying for jobs as I finish the curriculum, but so far the Full Stack program is highly recommended.
