We did 3 team projects – 1 on layout, 1 on JS, and one final... Read More one on React + Node.js. I performed different roles on different projects, such as Developer, Scrum Master, and Team Lead. There were also personal projects. The training was intense and exciting. I met some fantastic people. Also, with the acquired knowledge, I developed an educational platform, web-developer.in.ua, where everyone can learn web development. I recommend GoIT for beginners 🙂

After graduation, it took me 1.5-2 months of active search to get an offer, but I am well aware that I am not a record holder, and someone managed to do it much faster. The innovative LMS system was one of the most significant advantages of studying at GoIT. It allowed me to focus on the material and effectively learn the necessary skills. I also cannot ignore the incredible support of mentors who were always ready to help and provide quality advice. During the course, I studied React, and after graduation, I decided to go further and try my hand at Angular on my own. I need to emphasize that my ability to learn additional technologies on my own was thanks to the GOIT course. The knowledge you gain is a necessary base that imposes new libraries or frameworks you want to study. The motivation, even after the course, helped a lot because you become a part of the GOIT community and will be kept in touch. I am glad I chose these courses and recommend them to everyone.

This year, I successfully completed the Bootcamp 30 Online course and secured a... Read More position at an IT company—less than a year after commencing the course. When I began the program, I recognized that attempting to learn programming independently wasn't always effective. After a week or a month, my initial motivation would often dwindle. However, GoIt's structured training helped me maintain discipline. Classes started in the morning, punctuated by breaks, practical sessions, and assignments. My group consisted of more than 30 participants, but not everyone completed the course. Various individuals had their reasons, but the primary factor for success was self-discipline and effective time management. The courses encompassed practical individual and team projects, allowing me to assume roles such as Developer, Team Leader, and Scrum Master. This exposure provided invaluable experience. Independence, self-directed learning, time management, and networking emerged as pivotal skills. The specialized interview preparation was exceedingly beneficial. The current job market is highly competitive. I recently noticed a job posting on Djinni that received over 1400 resumes. While I applied to various positions, many required prior experience. Fortunately, I found a job through an acquaintance from the course, Kostia. He was employed at the company and recommended me for the position. Nonetheless, I underwent the standard interview process. The significance of Soft Skills, emphasized during our training, cannot be overstated.

It was both interesting and difficult because I had to absorb a lot of information. The easiest... Read More for me to understand was HTML and CSS, and the most difficult was JavaScript, but through pain and daily efforts, JavaScript came to me and moved from the status of "difficult" to "interesting". The most interesting course for me was React. It is such a cool framework – a combination of everything you've learned before. Everything is based on the previous materials, if you missed something and didn't learn it, it's better to stop, figure it out and move on – then you will get results. I was pleasantly surprised by the LMS platform – it's so cool (those who studied at GoIT will confirm my words). The cool thing is that ALL the material remains available to you after graduation which is a big plus. I can't help but mention the awesome videos from our lecturers – they are the coolest guys and lecturers I've ever met. They explain the material in a very clear and accessible way. Even with these videos, you can study and understand the material well, and mentors are like the cherry on top – you can work individually with them on some unclear issues, but it's better to study and try to understand it yourself. I was also impressed by the support of the Client Manager, in correspondence with whom I felt support and interest in my studying and finding a job. After graduation, I received an offer in a couple of weeks and now I work in an office in my city.

Bootcamp is a very intensive course, and some of my mates... Read More decided to go to groups where you don't have to learn so much and fast))) But at the same time, there were students who even managed to combine study with work. Everything is very individual. For those who already have some basic knowledge or quickly learn everything, there are additional interesting and useful materials. The learning material is perfectly systematized and consistent. Even an entire beginner in IT (like me) will get some understanding already at the stage of preparing for lectures, and you can always ask teachers and mentors any questions. Despite the difficult conditions for studying that existed during that period, GoIT made a lot of effort to ensure that the learning process did not stop. Even when it stopped, it was just for a short time. In general, they always respond to students' requests, help and support them. Training on the course can't be compared to education in state institutions. It's completely different. And the most important thing is that at GoIT, they are interested in your results. They want you to be able to do all the tasks correctly, timely, and efficiently. And a few more words about myself (for those who may be still in doubt): I am a woman, a mother of 2 wonderful children, a person who never thought about working in IT and was engaged in a completely different field. My age is far from 25 years old, and when I decided to retrain, almost nobody believed in me. To be honest, sometimes I had doubts, too. Now I am already working in a new field. Yes, it is sometimes very difficult, because it is always difficult to start. But this path began with the GoIT marathon!!!

After being employed as a Full Stack developer, team projects are very similar to real commercial experience, except that on real projects, there are changes and edits from customers during development.
