It was just launched when I started the course, and we actively participated in its improvement. The knowledge you get from the course material is enough to find your first job. I got my offer at the very beginning of the war, when the situation on the job market was tough. As of that time, I had passed about 23 of the course. This means that even without completing the course, you already have a foundation for finding your first job. That is, they teach really well. So I have a very positive experience of studying at GoIT. The course was really interesting. I do recommend it🤘

And today, I am thrilled that I made this decision quickly and did not waste time. What can I say about the training: the material is presented in an accessible way, a convenient learning platform, a lot of practice, which is very useful for acquiring knowledge, and excellent teachers from whom you can learn and get helpful advice. The homework deadlines encourage you to stay on your game and not relax. Team projects are a big plus and a powerful burst of knowledge and skills. After completing the course, you already have a good portfolio. However, graduation is only the first step. The next stage, job search, is probably the most difficult. It should be noted here that GoIT prepares for this stage quite well. At the moment (summer 2023), the demand for junior vacancies far exceeds the supply, so not many people can find a job easily and quickly. What can I advise those who are in the position of a young specialist without commercial experience and are looking for an appointment: you need to respond to vacancies actively, use any opportunity that arises, you need to keep learning, you need to be better than others. In my case, GoIT helped me with my job search again. Thanks to an offer post on the internal Slack channel, I received a test task. It was my first test, my first interview, and an offer. In total, I spent about 2 months looking for a job. I want to express my gratitude to all the teachers and staff of GoIT for the development I received and how it changed my life.

Hello! Like everyone else, I would like to share my impressions of the course. I took an intensive online Bootcamp course to become a FullStack Developer. During the course, all sorts of things happened. For example, I liked and understood the first part... Read More almost immediately, I passed this block easily without even straining. But when the JavaScript block began, I struggled a little, because there was even more information and at first I could not get it together to understand anything at all. I want to say special thanks to the mentors and lecturers who helped me to get it together and explained everything in a clear structured way. After this, I started making progress, and it became even more interesting because now I could make not just a simple layout, but also add some functionality to it. I was even more fired up:) Then React started, and I got even more into it. Although at first, I didn't quite understand how to do something there, I had an idea of what was going on, which made me even more intrigued to understand it. Again, mentors can always help if you are stuck on some issue and nothing works out, they are always ready to help. I'm very grateful to this company for the skills and experience I gained. During my studies, I've built up a good portfolio that I'm not ashamed to start my career in IT with. Now I have received my first offer and work in a company where I develop applications on React and Node. I want to wish GoIT to become even better, and for those who are hesitant to start working with this company – to drop their hesitation and sign up for courses :) Because the information provided is essential, there is a pleasant LMS platform where you can read the lessons summaries, watch videos (by the way, among them I better perceived our teacher`s information – you're cool!), and the staff mentors, lecturers, and managers who are always ready to help you, no one leaves you alone with your difficulties:)

In September, I completed a Web Design course at GoIT. During the training, I've got 4 projects for my portfolio. And a month before training completion I received an offer for a UX/UI designer position. Nevertheless, I switched to design from banking... Read More and was a complete newbie in the field. I opted for courses instead of self-study because the information is given by the teachers in a structured and gradual way. For instance, you start with typography and color, and only then study the components and design system — and not vice versa! Plus, I always had the opportunity to contact a mentor if I experienced any difficulties or if I had any questions, which I had a lot of! Creating individual and team projects is a significant advantage of this school. The experience of working together helped me greatly in adapting to my new job. I took full advantage of all the opportunities the school provided. When I did my first job search tests, I asked the mentor for help, which I'm incredibly grateful for. Also, thanks to career counseling from GoIT, I was able to write up a proper CV, cover letter and had the chance to practice for interviews. Thanks to the English course, which is also part of the overall course, I met a cool teacher with whom I continue to work today. Everything seems cool and easy, however, sometimes it was very difficult to get together and finish a project. At such moments, the support from teachers, mentors, admin staff, and all the wonderful members from the course were very powerful! So, a huge thank you to GoIT for every piece of advice, push in the right direction, and support! And also for being such a warm and welcoming community! All the best!

I will describe the advantages in the form of a list: 1. A well-thought-out training program. It provides structured knowledge in ascending order of complexity. Each subsequent topic is based on the previous ones, so the learning from the earlier issues is consolidated. 2. High-quality presentation of the material. Before a new topic in the LMS, you can read the summary on this topic and watch a video lecture by an experienced developer. He gave us a deep understanding of JS and explained why a particular feature should be done a specific way. 3. Simulation of work in actual conditions. During the training, we participated in three-team projects. We were divided into teams, each with its own Team Leader and Scrum Master. We had clear deadlines and had to present our projects. This teamwork experience was advantageous and similar to the real work of a Front-end developer. 4. High-quality organization of training. Theory in the morning, then practice. Slack for communication with mentors and other students. Recordings of lectures and practical classes. A summary that can be read offline (it was handy during blackouts). 5. Support in everything. Both moral and technical. Mentors are in touch and will help in difficult moments. The manager can help with any other issues. 6. Additional soft skills classes and English classes. The emphasis here is on the points that are necessary for passing interviews. As a result, I received very high-quality knowledge and am now on probation for a React Developer position. I have something to compare with and can confidently recommend this school.
