Nachteile: Aufgaben sind oft uninteressant und nicht auf den Unterrichtsstoff bezogen. Für Anfänger ist es schwierig, direkt in die Praxis einzusteigen, da die notwendigen Fähigkeiten erst nach und nach vermittelt werden. All this hardly contributes to concentration, and there were moments when it seemed that studying didn't fit into my life, and I wanted to quit, but I'm a persistent guy :) Essentially, if I hadn't already known some of the course information, it would have been very difficult for me. But the course is very well structured, and as a person who knows the profession of web designer from the inside, I can appreciate that. Maybe if I were building this course, I would present some things differently, but the course was developed by mentors, course instructors, and having the ability to evaluate and compare it to how I was taught, I must say: they succeeded! With tutors and instructors, I had only productive, professional relationships. And the group? People are people! There’s a saying: 'We are not to baptize children!' It means that we are all here to learn. The point is that - we are all here to gain a profession. And that means "any problems should die where they were born". Conflicts are inevitable. Most of my group are women. Most of the women are younger, and quite significantly so. And while with some of them, from the very first days, we clearly understand our goals on a friendly note, others see the group as an opportunity to show off, express themselves sharply, and so on. That is their choice — who am I to judge them? :) But the group is alive, the group continues to help resolve work-related issues, and that is what matters most. As the joke goes: The mice cried, pricked themselves, but continued to eat the cactus :) Here too, the study continues, which means that, overall, the group has managed to work together. And as for the lessons, I am sure, they will allow each of us to achieve our goals and gain a wonderful profession and a new, excellent job.

Many of them also have experience working in the field they teach and focus on what we might need in interviews and in our future jobs.
I would also like to mention our group's curator, Elizaveta, who is always available. The curator maintains communication and listens to the students' wishes.

Ich lerne seit drei Monaten an der Schule ICH im Studiengang UX/UI Design und möchte meine Eindrücke und Erfahrungen teilen, die ich bis jetzt gesammelt habe.

Bevor ich mit dem Kurs angefangen habe, hatte mein Leben nichts mit Design zu tun. Aber ich wollte... Read More mich schon immer in diesem Bereich ausprobieren. Deshalb habe ich mich für die deutsche Schule ICH entschieden, wo der Online-Unterricht von null an aufgebaut ist und sich an Studierende ohne Vorkenntnisse richtet.

Lehrer und Unterricht:
Zuerst möchte ich unsere tollen Lehrer erwähnen - Dmitriy Demin (UX/UI Design) und Aleksey Kadochnikov (Front-end). Sie geben wirklich ihr Bestes, damit jeder Student den Stoff versteht, auch wenn wir 16 Personen in der Gruppe sind. Ich möchte mich herzlich bei ihnen für ihre Geduld, Professionalität und Aufmerksamkeit bedanken. Es ist sicher nicht einfach, online so viele Studenten zu unterrichten, aber sie schaffen das wirklich gut!

Außerdem gefällt mir, dass wir im Unterricht viel Praxis haben. So können wir das Gelernte sofort anwenden - das ist ein großer Pluspunkt.

Ein besonderes Dankeschön geht an unsere Koordinatorin Elizaveta Smirnova, die immer erreichbar ist, schnell reagiert und bei allen Fragen rund um das Studium hilft.

Deutschunterricht:
Ein weiterer Vorteil des Studiums bei ICH sind die Deutschstunden, die zweimal pro Woche stattfinden. Das ist eine tolle Möglichkeit, die Sprechfähigkeiten zu verbessern. Vielen Dank an die Lehrerinnen Alyona Ionova und Olga Bulynina für die interessanten Stunden, in denen alle Studierenden aktiv auf Deutsch sprechen und keine Angst haben, Fehler zu machen. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm und motivierend!

Einige Schwierigkeiten:
Natürlich gibt es auch ein paar kleine Schwierigkeiten, die ich persönlich bemerkt habe:
1. Manchmal wird das Lernmaterial nicht ganz in der richtigen Reihenfolge präsentiert - die Themen kommen manchmal „vom Schweren zum Einfachen“. Am Anfang hat das ein bisschen Verwirrung verursacht.
2. Für einige praktische Aufgaben gibt es etwas zu wenig Zeit, obwohl sie recht umfangreich sind. Da der Kurs für Anfänger gedacht ist, wäre etwas mehr Zeit für große Projekte wünschenswert.

Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Studium an der Schule ICH und bereue meine Entscheidung überhaupt nicht. Trotz kleiner Nachteile (die es überall gibt) finde ich es toll, dass die Schulleitung auf die Studierenden hört und versucht, das Programm ständig zu verbessern. Das verdient großen Respekt.

Mein persönlicher Tipp:
Für Anfänger kann es am Anfang etwas schwierig sein - das ist ganz normal. Mein Tipp: übt schon vorher ein bisschen mit dem Programm Figma. Es gibt viele kostenlose Videos auf YouTube, die euch helfen, die Grundlagen zu verstehen. So fühlt ihr euch sicherer im Unterricht.

Man sollte auch wissen, dass das Lernen im IT -Bereich viel Zeit und Energie kostet. Manchmal sitzt man wirklich den ganzen Tag am Computer. Aber wie man sagt: „Was schwer ist im Lernen, ist leicht im Kampf.“ Mit der Zeit wird alles einfacher und spannender! 😉

The only real challenge is the large amount of new information that must be learned in a short time, especially for someone like me who is changing career paths without any previous IT background. For beginners, it might be helpful to have a bit more time for practice, but otherwise, everything works really well.

The course is interesting and logically organized, the atmosphere is friendly and motivating, and the curators support students throughout the entire process.
Changing my profession after 50 wasn’t easy, but I’m truly glad I made this decision — it gave me confidence and showed that it’s never too late to grow and learn something new.
