"Great intro class!"

I really enjoyed this class and got a lot more confident with my design skills. My one complaint is that I wish it was a little longer. I feel like I progressed so much every class and I would have liked that to keep going for another few weeks

"Great teaching staff, dense coursework"

On starting up a new business I decided to take on some of the development work myself. After going it alone for a while I realized I was out of my depth and need some more formal training. Noble Desktop offered a great certificate program that covered... Read More

The Noble Desktop staff is very communicative and is there to make this a great experience for you. The instructors are talented both as teachers, as well as engineers, and each has a decade (or two) of professional experience. This means they not only have a mastery of current methodologies, but also understand the underlying 'how we got here' in an ever-changing landscape.

The class format is based around a learn-by-doing approach. One day you'll create a sign up form, another day a responsive navigation menu, another day leverage a jQuery plugin to create a slideshow, etc. You start with a workbook and a set of files, watch the instructor perform the exercise, then the material is reinforced as you do it yourself. Whne you run into a snag, the instructor is there to help you work through it.

It’s a bit of a whirlwind, but that’s what I was signing up for with a bootcamp format. The book and files are yours to keep and refer back to and are extremely clear. Noble also allows you retake anything at no additional expense, which I might do at some point.

All in all, I’m very grateful to have found this school and it was well worth it.

The class folder with all the examples was extremely helpful. Especially since I came late on the first day and I was able to seamlessly pick up on the same line of code everyone else was on. The notebook was also really helpful. I was use to coding on dreamweaver. But using the notebooks tips and tricks - I moved forward to sublime text and used alot of plugins the notebook discussed and explained how and why it would help in the long run.

I feel like a pro now. But I actually still keep the notebook with me in case I need to look back at a couple of notes. Great class!
