I have over 15 years of experience in product management, but decided to join Product Gym because I have spent the last almost 10 years with the same company, and had not searched for a job in a long time. Following are some of the things that stand out about Product Gym from my experience: - They helped me make significant improvements to my resume and advised me on the content and format of my cover letter. The quality of my resume and cover letter played a large role in me getting as many interviews as I did. - The membership includes classes on various aspects of product management that not only provided refreshers of the materials, but as important, focused on likely interview questions related to the materials. - When I received an offer letter and needed to make a quick decision, Cody made himself available over the weekend to be a sounding board and to give his feedback on the pros and cons of the offer. - Membership is for a lifetime. This was a huge factor in my deciding to join the Product Gym because I know I can always go back and take refresher courses or, if I am ever in the job market again, to get their feedback on my resume changes and the interview process. I went from being completely unable to get product management interviews at all no matter how much I applied, to having interviews at 70 companies. That's right. 70 companies. It... Read More was almost impossible for me to keep track of all the interviews and companies I was talking to- I would spend almost all of my work day on calls with recruiters and hiring managers. I also spent hours every night just responding to interview requests, sending thank you notes, and trying to make all of this work on my calendar. I turned down about 40 of these interviews (I couldn't believe I was turning down PM interviews!!) because it was so overwhelming and ended up with 5 PM offers and 5 other final rounds that I also turned down. I got a 60% increase in my total compensation and started off my PM career as a Senior PM with a well-known tech company. I got interviews at many well-known firms, sometimes for very senior roles. I know all of this sounds unbelievable- I was also very skeptical when I first started. Product Gym 100% delivers though, and I was shocked at how well everything went.
