There are also video recorded classes on PM topics like roadmapping or A/B testing. Second, PG does a wonderful job helping you feel confident when tackling arguably the hardest interview section - the case study. They offer expert advice on how to handle this portion so you feel prepared no matter the question hurdled your way. I got hung up on this step prior to joining PG. After joining, I was passing this interview step with a high success rate. Finally, PG is great at making sure you work for your dream job. At times, PG demands a lot out of your week between classes, practicing for the interview, and applying. Keep at it because the results will show. I want to leave on one final note. Before joining PG, I had been applying for months with no success. I was offered a job within 6 weeks following PG’s approach. The results speak for themselves.

The whole process is not easy. You will need to put in the work and hours. You will want to learn, especially if you have never been a product manager before. You will need to get used to rejections. I’ll have to say this though, I used to beat myself up with every rejection, but with PG’s process, I didn't really have the time to sulk! I definitely learned a lot about product management as I went through the program and really appreciate the support that is there, not only from the PG team, but also the other folks that are in the program as well. If you are contemplating whether to join, just do it!

The program is structured really well to pay attention to every minute detail that goes into the job search. The course structure is good enough for you to learn the concepts and enable the candidate to not just land and offer but to do well in the role. Only con: Sometimes you feel lost in first 2-3 weeks about the next steps. A little more interaction would help in that phase. Product Gym helped me identify where I was falling short in interviews, understand how to market myself, and gain the confidence I needed to land a job offer. Product Gym is a very appropriate name. Just like a gym, the results you get are directly related to the work you put in. During my interviewing journey there were many dark moments. Because I had been at the same place for so long, I was worried that my experience was so specific to the needs of the company I worked at, that other companies would only see me for what I had done rather than what I could offer. Hours of preparation and practice for each interview seemed to lead to rejection every time. It was demoralizing. My commitment to PG’s process and the resources PG offers helped me stay on track, get past those negative thoughts, learn from my mistakes, and just keep on applying. After about a month and a half I received my first offer. If you are an existing product manager like me and you are feeling stuck in your career, Product Gym can give you motivation and the tools you need to find your next PM job. I joined Product Gym, started the full program with branding. It is amazing, you get an in-depth review of your resume, cover letter and LinkedIn. They look through everything and after an iterative process only approve the best version of the documents.... Read More Trust them on this process because it has immediate results. I started applying on 01/28/2022, I had an offer in hand for a target company and city by 02/18/2022. Before PG I wasn't even getting a callback. So branding is worth it! Next is skill training, PG has weekly twice coaching calls and weekly twice classes to get you up to speed for interview prep and even on the job skill development. Their focus though is specifically to get you hired and get you real PM experience, so that's how the program is designed to get interviews, practice, and get hired. Lastly, it's a lifelong membership with the PG community. You can come back again for your 2nd, 3rd ... and so on jobs, and relearn or get updated on the newest interviewing skills and trends. You have a high level of interaction with members often materializing in a strong sense of community. I highly recommend PG!

As a Product Manager, we not only have to master the product knowledge and principles, but also we need to build the foundations of the product mindset. Indeed, helping professionals from various backgrounds build a solid product mindset is one of the key differentiators between Product Gym and other Product Management training programs. Once you've built the product mindset, it opens up a whole new outlook and keeps you motivated in the product world. In fact, everyone is truly a Product Manager of your own and everyday you're building yourself as a "Product" along the journey of your life.
